The Department of Industry (DOI) has announced an important extension for recreating lost trademark files after physical records were destroyed by fire and vandalism at the Industrial Property Branch.
Highlights:
Incident: On 09/09/2025 (Bhadra 24, 2082), physical trademark records were destroyed.
Who Must Act: All applicants who filed trademark registrations or renewals before the Incident must re-submit documents to recreate duplicate (Pratilipi) files.
Submission Period: Documents must be refiled within 90 days from the publication of this notice.
