Industrial – Property Bulletin 20.1
Pursuant to Section 18(1) of the Patent, Design and Trademark Act, 2022 (1965 AD), the Nepalese Registry under the Department of Industry has officially published the Industrial Property Bulletin, Volume 20, Number 1, on Friday, 27th February 2026. This publication has been issued in accordance with the statutory requirement to notify the public of matters relating to patents, designs, and trademarks, including accepted trademark applications, thereby enabling interested parties to review the published particulars and exercise their legal rights, including the filing of opposition within the prescribed timeframe.
Key Note:
If no opposition is filed within the statutory period of 90 days from the date of publication, the applied trademark proceeds to registration and a Registration Certificate is issued by the relevant authority.
